My name is Jessica welcome to my collection of original movie posters. I have been collecting and selling for 15 years now and my passion rather obviously is for movie posters from the 20th century. These posters are from a time when poster artists illustrated evocative scenes to entice us in to the cinema. Often without having seen the movie themselves and sometimes working from only a few stills they created some of the most iconic movie artwork that today instantly transports us back to those times. All of my posters are cinema used original posters, I do not sell reproductions of any kind.

My inventory runs from the 1940’s onwards and takes in all genre’s of films. I mainly stock British quad posters (30” x40”) but also have one sheets (27” x 41”) and other sizes from around the world, if the artwork is interesting I’ll stock it.

Below I will hopefully answer some of the more common questions but please feel free to use the contact page to ask any questions not answered here.

Condition: Posters are either Folded as was the case for the majority of posters as they were delivered to the cinemas folded inside the film reels, Rolled which for older posters is much rarer, or Linen Backed which is a process where the poster is mounted on to a conservation linen backing to strengthen and get rid of any imperfections, these poster are rolled (linen backed poster may also have restoration). As all of my posters are original cinema used posters they will have varying condition issues, I grade my posters honestly and provide a condition report for each one, the condition report will highlight any tears/creases/pin holes/etc. Please satisfy yourself that you are happy with the condition of a poster before buying.

Photos: The photos shown for each poster are of the actual poster you will receive, if you would like higher definition photos emailed to you so you can inspect the poster more closely please let me know and I’ll arrange that.

Pricing: You may see wildly different prices for the same poster when browsing the internet, the poster price comes down to the individual dealer, the price I set for each poster depends on a 3 factors, 1. the condition of the poster, 2. what I originally paid for it and 3. how strong the market value is for that poster. As I do not have a physical shop and all of the costs that that incurs I can keep the cost of my posters low passing that discount on to my buyers. I also have a SALE section where posters I’m looking to sell quickly are offered at a marked down price.
