Sean Connery’s last outing as James Bond 007 twelve years after his last role as Bond in Diamonds are Forever. The film’s title is a reference to his remark in 1971 that he would “never” play Bond again.
Thought by some as not a ‘proper’ Bond movie as it was made by Taliafilm & Kevin McClory who had retained the filming rights of Thunderball (the novel on which this movie is based), all of the bond movies up until this point and since have been produced by Albert R Broccoli’s EON Productions.
